Bifold Door Threshold Options and Heights

New Integrated 150 mm cill and bifold outer frame.

It offers a weather rated combined cill and frame threshold that is 25 mm lower than the standard separate cill and outer frame. Further details on our bifold blog

When screeding or laying floors the bifold sash needs floor clearance on inward opening doors. When the standard bifold outer frame is used it has a height of 35 mm on the opening side and with an added cill there is a total overall height of 60mm.

The bifold aluminium threshold can be fitted with optional ramps inside and out for easy access the rear height of the ramp is 20 mm high.

The low aluminium threshold option is thermally broken for energy efficiency and comes in a satin anodised finish on all bifold colour options. It is 20 mm high when added to a cill the combined height is 45 mm. Please note the low aluminium threshold option has not been weather certified ,though we have used it successfully on many bifold applications
